Fast food, slow emotion
You said we should remember breaks
You asked for a few
The chain link of memory
Listen to the radio in the backyard, you heard
Radio station is up for sale as is the old school
All your memories are up for sale.
The sun is rising over the airport Holiday Inn
And another day begins, as you blink
The highway has been widened
To accommodate a world getting smaller
Traffic like your thoughts are more constant
Bus going past carries people to their tasks.
