Heart Heavy by Karen Nesbitt

A man walks into a room,
He says to his wife,
“You did it again.”
He walks away.

A man walks into a room,
He says to his wife,
“You did it again.”
He walks away.

A woman sits in a room,
head bowed,
heaviness leaks out of her heart.
He walks away.

A woman sits in a room,
head bowed,
heaviness leaks out of her heart.
He walks away.

A man and a woman in a room,
One sits, one stands,
Heaviness leaks out of their hearts.
They long to hold each other.

A man and a woman in a room,
One sits, one stands,
Heaviness leaks out of their hearts.

A man and a woman in a room.
One sits.
One stands.
